Got the "Official" Email from MBUSA
with official pricing...Base of $54,9...better than I had hoped, i gotta say. And option pricing looks lower than it did 6 months ago on the R, so they definitely got the message.

Just the cheer you guys up over there in USA.
The GL450, in Europe, pre-tax (and we all pay about 16->20% tax on top of this) is 66900 EUROS. That is about $81000 + 16->18% tax
Its even more expensive in UK, where we pay more to have it made right-hand-drive.

They are in Euros (i.e cover most of Europe), and show ex-tax and with the German tax of 16%.
UK prices are higher (because of a RHD supplement), and in UK our tax is 17.5% -
Belgium VAT is 21%, France 19.6%, Ireland 21%, Italy 20%, Netherlands 19%, Finland 22%, Hungary 25% etc
Fuel here in the UK is $6.58 per gallon ... (unleaded 95 octane) because of lots of other taxes.
