What's Up With The Two Options, Appearance Package And Adsii?
Both Come With Skid Plates And Roof Racks. I Was Going To Order Both Options, Appearance Package (mainly For Larger Wheels) And Off Road Package With Ads Ii. Do You Get A Credit For The Skid Plates And Roof Rack From One Or The Other.
Seems Strange To Pay For It Twice And Get It Once.
On A Related Topic, Can You Put 20 Inch Wheels With The ADS II Off Road Package?

Details remain very sketchy on what must be ordered together and what cannot be ordered together. But I'd guess that these two things cannot be ordered together. If you want low profile performance tires, then you clearly are not planning to go off-roading, and there's no point in ordering the ORP. You need lots of rubber around those rims to protect them from the rocks.
ADS might be standard, since Airmatic is standard and Airmatic includes ADS on other MB models. But the specs page doesn't mention it, so this might be the first case where Airmatic is offered without ADS.
Edit: In another thread it appears someone bought a GL with both AP and ORP, so seems my hunch was wrong. Unless ORP includes the 19s, and the site just leaves out this bit of info.
I do find it odd that the 19s necessary include skid plates, as if people who buy lower profile tires are more likely to go off-roading.
