GL Offroad Package & the GL63
The GL Offroad Package with 2-speed transfer case and and locking center and rear differentials should be available on a USA GL starting in August.
The GL63 will be produced, and will be available before this time next year.
This from one of my better sources with whom I talked last night --
Not the most illustrious thread I have ever started - but couldn't find another GL thread which seemed appropriate to include this information in....

I'm sad to hear about a GL63. It is a pointless. The ML63 was enough, the R63 just too much and the GL63 totally and utterly pointless IMO. That type of engine in a big, heavy SUV is going to LIVE on gasoline.
