Activated Charcoal Filter

I could probably dig through an online manual if i could find one, but wondered if anyone can tell me if the standard or 3-zone climate systems in the GL have the activated charcoal filter?

I know it was deleted as a standard feature in most of the classes for 03 but didn't know if it was available on the GL. Seems a must-have to me, with so many nasty trucks out there spewing cr$p.

Depends where I'm going.
Interesting question. I use recirc and usually can't smell a thing even with the recent fires in CA. My wife's S500 has a separate filter button in addiiton to the recirc button and I have to press that to achieve the same effect. It also diminishes the air volume coming out of the vents. I think most cars have HVAC filters now so maybe it's standard and always on in the GL.
