Maintenance items
Does anyone do their own maintenance anymore these days?
What do you guys think or know about the 13,000 mile interval for oil changes? Seems a bit much to me. I know the GL's have Mobil 1 from the factory and that the oil is supposed to maintain its viscosity longer. But for 13,000 miles?? Doesn't it still get filthy and what the heck is a fleece oil filter?
I can't remember, is there a whole section on maintenance in the manual - like where to find the drain plug, oil filter, air filter, etc.?
