Got mine couple of weeks ago!

I love the GL! I wanted to wait for the new X5 but I'm glad I got the GL. I love its utility, size, third row seat, engine, and the ride. My wife loves it too, she drives it most of the time now.

Just one question, though - mine didn't come with the floor mats for the third row seats. Are they supposed be there? or do I have to purchase them separately? Any recommendations for where to get them? Thanks.

My specs:
White / Macademia
PremiumI
Sunroof
Rear camera
Rear seat DVD
IPOD integration
Voice control

P.S. got it at invoice price through Carsdirect.com

Congrats on the GL! The 3rd row mats don't come with the car but MB does have rubber all weather mats available for the 3rd row. You can order them from your dealership. If they don't show them in their accessories catalog, be persistent because they do exist. I have a set in my car.

Another useful accessory is the rear trunk mat/bumper protector. My initial complaint about the GL was that there isn't a trunk net so when you open the hatch, everthing falls out. The trunk net is ok but the bumper protector is far more useful. It flips out to keep the bumper from getting scuffed and when not in use, it folds up and makes a perfect trunk net. You'll see what I mean if you get one.

I am assuming that OMFS means that you are an oral surgeon?

Toothfixer, thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

The mats for the third row are listed on page 32 of the accessory catalog and also in the master number list on the last page.

OEM mats can be found on a few sites.

This is one.
