Saw one today just outside the Alabama plant . I was in a rental car and it passed me doing about 95. O Black just like the PE but without the running boards and chrome roof rack, it did have a nice chrome peice layed on the rear bumper. Lots of letters on back of vehicle GL 320CDI 4MATIC a little much IMO.

Yep... Been waiting a while for a vehicle like this to come to market. I thought that I might have to settle for the Jeep Commander with the diesel which is due in the early summer of 2007, but now that the GL diesel is available... That is what I will be driving... Got my deposit in... Just waiting for a build date from my dealer.

I am just glad that I am not living in California at the moment.

It would appear they are going to release these earlier than planned...i'm going to the dealership tomorrow to see where that puts me...
