Depends where I'm going.

I took my GL in this week because of the SRS light. I am told that it is a common occurance and there is a quick fix for it so no big deal. I figured what the heck, since it was in, I may as well mention the slightly rough 2-1 downshift that happens intermittently when slowing down. I heard there was a TSB for a tranny software update anyways.

When I went to pick up the car, I was told that the tranny fluid was very low from the factory. There were no leaks so it must have been underfilled. What kind of crap is that? If MB is going to make a maintenance free tranny and not even provide a dipstick, shouldn't they at least make sure there is enough tranny fluid from the factory? Went nearly 8000 miles with low tranny fluid and they would have never realized until the 15k mile check up unless I had taken it in. Thought I'd give you guys a heads up since we all rolled off the same assembly line.
