Invoice Pricing

Hello all...newbie here...

My wife and I are looking at the GL 450 and 320CDI...test drove the 450 yesterday. Very nice.

I am a longtime owner of BMW's and also a member of Bimmerfest.com, a BMW forum.

I had a few questions for the members on here.

-- on Bimmefest, the invoice as well as Euro delivery invoice pricing is posted on the forum. Is that the case here? I have looked and cannot locate it.

-- is a GL with the off-road package a rare item? I am in Denver and not one of the dealers here have the ADS-II, which is what I want. Apparently, ADS is only part of the off-package.

-- has anyone compared the GL to the new X5? We test drove the 3.0 and 4.8 X5's and they are nice, but the third row is quite tight.

Anyway, nice to be here now...

Welcome ahurst!
The Off-Road Package is not available on the 320CDI. I have seen a few 450's with the package here in Atlanta, so i would imagine you could find one in denver.

Thanks Taz -- I did, indeed, find a black / black GL450 with off-road package today. Drove it and the sport setting makes a huge difference. I loved it. Don't need the differentials, but nothing can be done about that. Wife just does not want black interior...

Had an 2005 X5 4.4i for 6 months. The GL (and ML) wins, no contest. Much more refined, but as you can tell from my auto-sig, I am a Benz guy.

I have found that if you multiple all MSRP's for MB products by .931 you will get the dealer invoice price. This has been the case since the new pricing structure mplimented a few years ago. Of course this doesn't include any holdback or incentives, etc.
