Tranny Computer Update
FYI....
I took my car in yesterday for "Service A", I have 8700 miles on my car. I noted that I felt that it shifts hard intermittently. It turns out that there is a Tranny update that corrects this problem. I just picked up my car about an hour ago and havent driven enough to know whether it fixed the problem but there is certainly a software update. Just figured everyone would like to know!!

The services are determined on a number of factors, your driving style, and numerous other computers monitoring your fluids and such to determine your Service interval.

i took my car in because the indicator told me I was due for schedule "B" service. When i showed up and they saw how many miles on my car, they realized there was no service "A" done, just the first service at 1-3k miles, so they did "A" instead. I just do what the car tells me!!

Depends where I'm going.
I have a feeling you were duped. They must have reset your service interval indicator when you went in for the 1k inspection. Something is fishy if your indicator was showing a service B due @ 8k miles and regardless of variables and driving style, there is something wrong with a 8k service A.
