I am being told by my dealer that I can't order the the appearance package and the off-road package together...

I only want the 19-inch wheels that come with the appearance package.

So,
cost of Appearance package = $1,100
cost of 19-inch wheels separate = $1,996

I pay $896 more for less equipment? That's crazy...

if you want just the wheels, they'll give you credit for the set they're taking off.

Almost every shop now has take off 19" wheels. I know in Arizona Schumacher has tons of them, as they make good profits with bigger chrome after-market wheels. Try your dealer and see if they have some take offs first....

My understanding is the offroad suspension is built for the 18" wheels. I asked if I could put 19" on w/ the offroad and had three dealers say they couldn't order it, but I could likely go after market.

Then I wondered about when it hunkers down at highway speed - would it rub or not? I haven't heard yet why you technically can't get 19" w/ the off road. Call MBUSA and ask and let us know. -cjd

My NON Off Road also 'hunkers down' at highway speeds and has 19" wheels, and I have also seen someone at the dealership with a 450 with 22's - and he said he doesnt have a problem....

That being said, there is always Murphy....
