I didn't try them yet, but I would say yes. My rational for these two options is that they help you avoid bumping into other cars and objects when parking and backing up, thus they save you the bumps and scratches which are expensive to fix....more than the cost of the potions over time.
Also, they make backing and parking easier.
I've tried on other cars, and they are absolutely amazing!

They are a must. You will need them due to size.

I had them in the van I just sold so I am very used to them. I think the video from the MB camera is much better than the one on the Toyota I sold. Clear and bright.

I don't know how they are on the GL but I have them on my Armada and they are awesome. If you do any towing it is a piece of cake to hook up the trailer with the camera. The parktronic sensors work great as well (I had them on my E55) but for some reason Nissan got cheap and only put them on the rear.

Both options work as expected. I believe both are definately a must have. The only thing they could do to improve the camera is to put a windshield wiper on it...lol

Got parktronic and backup camera. Only have 350 mi on GL but already have found them very useful.

Both sensors and rear-view camera work great. I would highly recommend them.
