oh..and one more doubt....
should i at all be concerned with mb reliability/mainten. costs of my gl?..i know many posts discussed it..but hopefully can be reassured..

I used to own a 99 ML320 and I know that merc went though some hard times. I peronally didn't have any major out of warranty problems for over 80k miles. I really liked the car. I wanted something bigger and with a third row and bought a 2002 Toyota Landcruiser. I really like the GL320 CDI and am close to ordering one. I have been watching for quality issues on all the popular forums. So for it seems to be limited to some issues with the 7-Speed auto when it came out in the new M-class and a bunch of issues with the airmatic suspension.
I am still considering the starmark warranty as I want to keep the truck for atleast 7 years or 100k miles.
