Mud flaps or ??
I spent last Saturday applying a nice coating of Klasse AIO followed by Klasse glaze, and noticed I already have one small nick on the paint at the bottom of the rear wheelwell. Jeez, I've only had the car a few weeks
I would like to add some protection to the vulnerable painted areas. I've only seen one image of a GL with flaps, and if I remember correctly, most posts on that thread were diss'ing the flaps.
I believe my wife's ML has some body paint colored stick-on things down in the same area as where I found the chip. Her ML is the "Special Edition" with factory running boards. Id like to do something to help protect against future nicks, without making my ride look funky.
Anyone else here noticed this issue? Suggestions?
On a somewhat related note, the back window get covered in filth really fast on wet dirty winter roads. Maybe flaps would reduce this some?

As far as the back window on "wet dirty winter roads" there is not much you can do. It is the from the backdraft more than from the rear wheels I think.
