Passenger Door Ajar
Has anyone experienced the malfunction "Passenger Door Ajar"? For some reason my 550 thinks the front passenger door is open and it won't remove the warning from the dash, you can't lock the doors from the handle, and the interior lights always remaining on. And, yes, I've opened and shut the door many times to try and get the GL to recognize that the door is closed.
I'm bringing it to the dealer on Monday for other issues, but was just curious if anyone had experienced this bizarre little gremlin.

Mechanic found a bad connection in the door sill lighting and repaired the connection. Everything worked perfectly this afternoon.
I didn't realize how addicted I had become to operating the iPod from the dash menu until I couldn't access it, because of the passenger door ajar warning.
