Software upgrade and TSB on oil sensor coming soon
I brought my GL for a dentwizard service because somebody on the parking lot of a mall was not careful enough in opening their door as if they are the only ones parked and slammed on the right side of my GL. It left a dent almost at the crease of the rear panel. I was worried but Dentwizard was able to fix it. Anyway while I was at the dealership I asked about a occuring problem where the oil warning would come on so the SA Told me that they will check the car. I came for it yesterday and was told that they have checked on this and was told that in the coming month their will be a TSB for the oil sensor and will start changing oil sensors when the new models of oil sensor starts coming in.He told me that they will contact or MB for this change.Ca n somebody confirm?
Also he told me that they have upgraded a software on my GL which was a previous TSB. I was in a hurry for Holiday shopping that I forgot what was the software update. Does anybody know? My GL is 2008. I heard before for software upgrade for Navigation for 2007.
