How low can this GL550 go???

well like I said in my previous thread there were issues with the Carlsson module and when I got back from vacation my car was dead. The module seemed to be draining the battery. Carlsson came to my local shop and installed a new one and it is working great (pix to come after the rain stops). But what happened along with the dead battery was that when the tech at the dealership put it back to the normal ride height setting the car dropped all the sudden extremely low. So low that it was on the bump stops, which is as low as it can go. So i snapped a picture with my phone before the new module was installed just to show what it looked like being so low. Enjoy! haha

I used to have a 1958 Cadillac type-75 9-passenger car (basically a limo without a divider window) with Caddy's "air ride" (rubber bags on all four wheels, like riding in a boat or maybe on the back of a drunken sailor on a boat in a hurricane). It never seemed to work right and one day when I was parked some kid came up to me to tell me how great the car was, and asked did I lower it myself? I said, "Nope, it came from the factory that way!"

It looks so LOW!

Ahahah, wow that's so funny. Is it just me or does it look like the wheels have some camber too because of the sudden drop?

oh I am sure they have negative camber. driving it that low for about 1 mile from the dealer to the shop wasnt too fun either. since it was on the bump stops the car was bouncing up and down like crazy.
