Hello Everyone

Just bought an 08 black GL320 CDI was wondering if anyone has installed Chrome Roof Rack on their truck similiar to GL550. Dealer told me that the Chrome bars are $350 a piece (Left and right each).

If I take it to a Chrome Plating Shop you guys think it'll be any less? I have seen someone had his wheels done inthe forum....

It will surely be more to chrome the black bars.

As discussed elsewhere, the process is really overly complicated and involves many difficult procedures, including removing the entire headliner. If I recall from the other thread, it's also quite cost prohibitive because of the labor involved. You've got to get to bolts above the headliner, on the inside of the roof.
