Airmatic or Not?

Our previous GL450 Premier Edition had the button to raise the vehicle but it had no button for Auto, Sport, and Comfort modes. Arent all Airmatic GL's supposed to have this button? Please correct me if im wrong...but I do know that it had Airmatic because of the numerous pump failures and vehicle messages but my point of this post is to know if it was supposed to have that button and why do some GL's have it and some dont. Thanks

I posted this earlier today on another thread.

The GL550 and the GL450 with the ORP has ADSII which has the Comfort/Sport switch. The other models (GL320 and GL450 without ORP) do not have this as standard or as an option. All GL's have Airmatic suspension.

I think you will see ADSII on all models in '09 as standard or optional, depending on the model. A guess but a good one I think.

I think it was your post because what you wrote here was pretty much identical to what I read.

I saw this after I posted about the pix of 320 AdBlue that were posted in another. This explains why there was a C/S switch on the 320 in that thread. Of course, sticker doesn't mention ORP or ADS. Thanks, Jack, for clarifying.
