Don't start with the Chrome, bro, or you will have no money left. Here is the recommended order for your ordeal of waiting for a GL -

First torment yourself whether you want MB liners or all weather mats. Measure how much rain/snow you get to help you decide. Also, important is how much you want to cover the 2nd row hump. Most folks also consider tongue of the 3rd row mat to be a major factor too. Then curse MB for confusion. If the hump/tongue are not making sense, don't worry but go with the flow.

Next, we recommend, you move on to cargo liner and dog hair protector. Marvel at the choices and share your disgust with how shabby MB original choices are.

Then it's time to ruminate on what options you got and what you should have gotten. In this you also mix what are the various build codes and how late you can change your order. It is fair to compare MB's ordering system outdatedness with BMW's at this point and usually that also results in curses for MB.

Then and only then you start buying chrome accessories.

Lastly, if and only if your name contains Jack and Nevada (both), cancel your 320 order and buy a 550

 

I'm way ahead of you, I got the mats, AND the liners...

And if the train carrying my GL550 had not been located, with no one knowing where it was or when it would arrive, I was ready to cancel it also. But Greg at Westminster MB calmed me down and saved the deal. Stumblefoot's GL550 was on the same train but he was more inclined to take delivery no matter what...

Congratz on the new GL320...don't forget the Custom Wheel Caps...

BTW we no longer use Cruise Missiles...they are so low-tech. The Laser Blaster Beam is much cleaner and leaves no evidence.

Yep! ~1500 miles (~2400 km) straight south, that includes the pristine beauty of Montana (not so very different from Alberta), the mountains of Idaho, the contrast of Utah's red deserts and snow covered hills, the Grand Canyon (North Rim, no less!), the pine forests and history of Flagstaff, and the striking majesty of the Gila River Valley (aka the Phoenix area or "The Valley of the Sun"). Oh, and the great company of fellow GL owners, showing off their trucks and whining about the options you get.
