Exclamation Made my order....

Thanks for your help making my mind up about this purchase!

Got a diesel with all the standard Canadian gear plus running boards, Peridot Brown (Verde Brook) on Cashmere (Macadamia Nut).

Should be here in six weeks or so. Had to get in before the Bluetec.

Don't start with the Chrome, bro, or you will have no money left. Here is the recommended order for your ordeal of waiting for a GL -

First torment yourself whether you want MB liners or all weather mats. Measure how much rain/snow you get to help you decide. Also, important is how much you want to cover the 2nd row hump. Most folks also consider tongue of the 3rd row mat to be a major factor too. Then curse MB for confusion. If the hump/tongue are not making sense, don't worry but go with the flow.

Next, we recommend, you move on to cargo liner and dog hair protector. Marvel at the choices and share your disgust with how shabby MB original choices are.

Then it's time to ruminate on what options you got and what you should have gotten. In this you also mix what are the various build codes and how late you can change your order. It is fair to compare MB's ordering system outdatedness with BMW's at this point and usually that also results in curses for MB.

Then and only then you start buying chrome accessories.

Lastly, if and only if your name contains Jack and Nevada (both), cancel your 320 order and buy a 550

Whatever you do, make sure you get the chrome aerowings for the hood.

Oh yeah Congrats. I am waiting for my GL550 too but it won't be here anytime soon.

And if the train carrying my GL550 had not been located, with no one knowing where it was or when it would arrive, I was ready to cancel it also. But Greg at Westminster MB calmed me down and saved the deal. Stumblefoot's GL550 was on the same train but he was more inclined to take delivery no matter what...

Congratz on the new GL320...don't forget the Custom Wheel Caps...

I didn't think it was that funny Steve...don't open your door tonight...and listen for the helicopter...

BTW we no longer use Cruise Missiles...they are so low-tech. The Laser Blaster Beam is much cleaner and leaves no evidence.

I would absolutely love to have one those to zap all of the elk around here.

BTW... winter storm warning through 6p tomorrow with approximately 12" - 16" expected. Hard to believe since it's 53 degrees right now.

Anyway, looks like a sick day tomorrow or Friday to play in the powder one last time this year.

Oh, and the great company of fellow GL owners, showing off their trucks and whining about the options you get.

Where shall I make the hotel reservations in your name?

Ahem...you forgot Nevada and the Great Basin National Park, the Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the entertainment capital of the world with it's enticing financial district offering investment opportunities beyond belief...:-)

You forgot the Red Rock Park

I do detect a hint of a GL meet floating in on the warm weather.

Here's the city list (abridged) (highly);
Calgary, Alberta
Lethbridge, Alberta
Great Falls, Montana
Helena, Montana
Idaho Falls, Idaho
Pocatello, Idaho
Ogden, Utah
Salt Lake City, Utah
Cedar City, Utah
Tuba City, Arizona (Just west of)
Flagstaff, Arizona
Camp Verde, Arizona
New River, Arizona
Phoenix, Arizona
Scottsdale, Arizona

At least that's the route I've calculated out. No Nevada at all, I'm afraid! He'd have to go a lot of hundreds of miles out of his way to do that and with the price of gas these days it's just not feasable.

Besides, you gotta come here, man!

Can't say as I blame you. I like it better with the "u" by the way. A product of Canadjun relatives. You should've seen my spelling grades in Memphis when I was a kid.
