I'll bet the Si is nice!! Our Civic is the VP model...stripped...only "features" are a/c and a single CD player. Manual windows/door locks & a manual tranny. We needed a commuter car for my husband's 150-mile per day commute to work. His F150 was eating us out of house and home with gas and that's back when gas was only $2.50 a gallon.

Rear Brakes squeaking: Took to dealer, Replaced Pads, Covered under warranty.. Squeaking Stopped.

Front Brakes Squeaking: Took to dealer, Could not replicate, Taking to another dealer for second opinion. I read somewhere there was a recall on the front brake pads..

Noise when putting tranmission in gear: Motorized sounds for a couple of seconds whenever changing from Park to Drive to Reverse. Having this checked out at the dealer this week also.

Rubber Burning Smell: Posted Earlier on this one and can't figure it out.. Just glad to know I am not the only one having this issue. Will have this checked out this week also.

Mine blew one rear airbag. Also front end clunks when unloading the suspnsion (ie for example when it falls in a pothole). I can't seem to fix it and if I can't- I doubt anybody else can headquarters got an earful, but what can they do...

Other than that- my diesel has been good to me. 80k miles. Just replaced rear pads for the first time. Fronts still have ways to go. Currently on my second set of tires and they have another 10-15k before a new set is needed.

All the air struts had to be replaced (never been off road), two front door locks had to be repaired, rear latch had to be repaired twice, parktronic sensors had to be replaced, air condition compressor had to be replace, oil leak repaired, couple of dead batteries, major rebuild of the engine in Jan 12 that luckily MB paid for because I complained so much...time to get rid of this POS. Easily the worst vehicle I've ever purchased.

2013 E 350
Does anyone has experience on replacing the lift gate motor on a 2007 GL? Mine is on the fritz and the dealer wants $1800 for the repair. Is there an easy way to remove the trim panel or are special tools needed? Can I order the part on line or do I need to go to the dealer?
Thanks
