I hear nothing but good things about the Zaino products. I remember a couple of threads from several months ago addressing good cleaning and polishing products. I have a black GL and want to keep it looking as good as possible. Is Zaino the way to go, or are there others I should consider? Also, are micro-fiber cloths the best way to keep streaks and swirls down when cleaning a black vehicle? Thanks in advace for your suggestions.

I also have a Black GL and, in my experience, Zaino does a wonderful job. Do remember though that a product is only as good as how it's used. If one uses Zaino with wrong techniques then results will not be that great.
I have only used microfiber towels on my car and am pretty sure they keep swirls and scratches down to a minimum. Do use different towels for paint, glass, and wheel wells.

Zaino is very durable (long lasting) and gives an optically perfect shine. Some others, such as Wolfgang, give more of a wet look and are slicker.
This is two layers of Z-5 under three layers of Z-2.

This is after I added a layer of P21s 100% wax to the roof and hood. To tell you the truth I couldn’t tell the difference.

Zaino.....used it for years on Corvette show cars and now use it on my GL. In my opinion nothing is better and the latest "all in one" version makes it very easy
By the way Troll....great looking shine!

Beautiful pictures and what a shine!!
Do you still have your GL car washed in an automatic wash or do you hand wash them yourself? I was wondering if the automatic wash will eventually remove the Zaino product and render them dull after several washes.

That is an incredible shine. Absolutely beautiful.
How much would you charge for my 550?

While I'm sure the high-high-end waxes provide a provable benefit,
I tend to favor the mid-level products (e.g. McGuires or 3M).
For me, I want a durable wax that gives a solid 9/10ths shine.
On the East Coast, Mother Nature has its way with car exteriors
(rain, snow, salt, pollen, dust) and after a day or two of use,
the extra 1/10th will not be discernible.

My rates are reasonable but travel time and airfare to CO are gonna kill your budget.Originally Posted by Stumblefoot
