I had the issue with rough 3-2 and 2-1 downshifts and the dealer reflashed my transmission during the initial service visit. At first the downshifts were smoother, but in short order they were the same as before. The problem seems to be at its worst after a cold start, and improves a bit after the engine warms up. Not sure what to do about this. I remember reading in this forum that others had experienced this transmission issue and it had sorted itself out with more miles (I'm only at 2,500), but I'm a skeptic.

I also hear a slight crunching or "gnashing" noise sometimes when coming to a stop at slow speeds, as the transmission downshifts from 2-1. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a fix?
