Back that up there buddy. My wife surely along with some of the other women, on this forum know what engine is in the GL. Heck the Mrs. in my house knows more about the engine in some instances than I do.

I'd even say she is a larger gearhead than I am.

YIKES! Jen drives a hog and a GL! Maybe it's time I go hide under the bed before I get my butt kicked. By a girl. Again.

Here in Alberta, I would say that most men drive pickup trucks - but of the GLs that I see its about 50/50 men/women drivers. Having said that I don't see too many 550's, mostly 450's.

My GL 450 is driven mostly by me - my wife likes driving it too, but I tend to hoard it.

How true is that? Calgary has to be the only place in the world where most senior executives drive a domestic 4wd pickup, and a one ton dually is considered a reasonable commuting vehicle.

I should shoot some pics of downtown parkades ($450-$660/mo). 75% trucks, maybe 50% of that full-size pickups.

It's no recent trend, though, it has always been this way. We just thought the rest of the world caught up to us when the so-called "SUV Craze" hit.
