I got keyed
I took the kids to the movies this afternoon and when we came back out I discovered two scratches on the passenger side of my car. First I thought it was an accident but upon closer inspection it looks like a long swipe but deep only at the beginning and end. I definitely did not park too close to the next car and it was not a compact space. Guess I'm off to the dealer tomorrow to have them look at it.

Sorry to hear that, shoozlover. You may want to show them to a good detailer too and see if some of this can be buffed out. Depends on the depth of the scratch but it's worth a try.

Try contacting the theater to see if they have video of the parking lot. Maybe the person who did this will be caught on tape. When somebody backed into my GL doing $500 damage and of course left without leaving a note, I contacted the hospital where it happened, but unfortunately, they did not have any video. It's worth a shot.
