Dropping my GL off for it's last "in-warranty" service (28 miles to go!) I asked why it said I needed a "Service C". My SA's answer was there are really only two services - the "A," which is minor, and the "B," which is major. He said if you need one filter, it's a "C," another and it's a "D," and so on down the alphabet. He said the only way to know for sure which service is needed is to plug the computer in. And with this forum in mind, I said to him, "So you'll call me to tell me what it needs before you do it, right?"

Of course, he will. Sam Mena's one of the best SA's I've ever had, any brand.

Just got a mailer from a local Bay Area dealer. Service A on any 1998 or newer non AMG is $149. Service B is $249.
