2009 Interior colors

I noticed that for '09 the tan interior is now named Cashmere as on the S class. Does anyone know if this is just a name swap or truly the same tan color interior that comes on the S class?

I have noticed that the tan coming on the '08's was very light and easily gets scuffed. We have four kids and so we are now contemplating the black interior but if its the cashmere which is what my S550 has, than we could live with it since its a darker shade.

The 'tan' as you call it on the '08s was in fact called Cashmere by MB. At least it was on the '08 GL we purchased, although we went with Ebony.

Huh. So what's the interior of mine, which was called "Macadamia" - is that different? I don't know because I bought off the lot rather than ordering and was pleased with what I'd gotten. Or is it only Macadamia if it's MB-Tex?

Steve,

I'm so sorry; it was Macademia, not Cashmere as I thought.

On call last night and not enough sleep = stupidity.

The cashmere in the E is much richer in shade than the macadamia, so i wonder if now they are calling them both cashmere, or is the cashmere truly replacing macadamia? haven't seen an M or GL with cashmere yet.
