Question Which COMAND screen?

This is my first Benz with COMAND and I'm curious which screen most of you keep up on the display. I'm usually traveling alone and rarely need NAV, but I've taken to keeping the map up because I'm afraid of burning a static image onto the display. Is this a concern? I'm not really tech savvy enough to know if it's even possible with LCD. Advice please...

I had my 2003 ML500 for over 4 years. I usually had the radio displayed (no Sirius in the 03) and never had a burn in problem. On the GL I tend to have the satellite info dispayed.

I believe it would be unlikely to get a burn in problem, but then again I'm not sure what technlogy they use on all the displays. I assume it's LCD/TFT.

First post!
Burn in only occurs on older Plasma screens, and cheaply made newer plasma screens. Burn in isn't possible with LCD.

So many gadgets, which to choose! Never had these cool toys in my '04 C230. Thanks for the info.

Yep, it was a fairly short business trip - 1 week total to Japan.

I might have to go back sometime yet this year for another quickee, but always nice to be home.
