GL/SL Mini Meet
On Thanksgiving Day Nish and his lovely family and I had a mini meet at Ruths Chris Steakhouse in Las Vegas. Great company, great stories and great food! Here is the living proof that oknish and Nevadajack do exist...

You are the only one of the original GL Mafia that I have not met but hopefully we can cure that after the New Year. Yosemite or sooner in Phoenix or Las Vegas...
The pic BTW is the handiwork of Nish's wife... used my 7 year old 3.2 megapixel Canon. Who needs the SLR's...

Luckly the streets were warm and the snow did not accumulate but toward Red Rock and Mt. Charleston I hear they really got bombed. If it didn't all melt yesterday I am going to go out to the RR overlook and get some shots today.

Snowing now and here is the National Weather Service forecast for tonight into Thursday.... I am at 2700 feet...
Maybe I should have kept the GL...
SNOW REACHING THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY FLOOR BEGAN TO FALL EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND SNOW IS NOW EXPECTED TO ACCUMULATE ON THE VALLEY FLOORS ACROSS CLARK AND SOUTHERN LINCOLN COUNTIES. SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF THURSDAY MORNING. THIS RARE SNOW EVENT IS EXPECTED TO BRING BRING ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES TO THE VALLEY FLOORS AND UP TO 10 INCHES TO THE FOOTHILLS ABOVE 2500 FEET.

Hello, guys! I ran into L8Apex over on M6Board and I started thinking about the GL forum. I thought I'd take a look and see what's up and lo and behold, a picture of a couple of my favorite guys! Jack, I agree with your "lovely family" comment - having met them all (remember the "Rib Meet" thread?)
Good to see you both looking well! Yes, I still have the GL with almost 20k miles. Knock on wood, absolutely no issues at all and a great daily driver.
