Angry GL550 door ding removal??

Well, my wonderful wife parked too close to another car in a parking lot yesterday after I repeatedly told her to park away from other cars, and she came home with a door ding the size of a quarter!!

I was fuming all night long! It's soo hard NOT to notice it, luckily there's no paint removed! So now I have to find someone to remove it!?!

Does anybody know how this done?? I want to find somebody good in the L.A. area to fix it. Anybody know anyone?? Any help would be great!

(Uugghh....my wife )

Ask your dealer about paintless dent removal. My dealer in the DFW metroplex offers it. I have a guy who will come to my home or office and do the work.

Paintless dent removal's the way to go, they can make it look like brand new for not too much money. ButI do have to say, and please don't be offended, that it is a vehicle, not a museum piece. No, you don't want to intentionally put it in a bad position where something unpleasant might happen, but dude ... stuff happens!

Dealer has no incentive to get back to you unfortunately. Sounds like a minor <$100 fix. Don't waste any time on those stupid "ding king" DIY kits or those dry ice remedies. All bs and even in the rare cases that it does work, risk aint worth it.

Howdy, neighbor. I am in Chatsworth.

GTA recommends Tom (818.708.2624) who is mobile and will come to you. Just mention GTA to him.

I had my wife's car done at Hamrick's. He lifted a ton of small dings and did a phenomenal job.

Good luck.

And, if your dealer is Calabasas MB, then don't hold your breath on the call back. They haven't called me back yet, from 3 months ago, when I got a ding.

Hi Neighbor Thanks for the info! I will check them out in the first thing in the morning

I hear what you're saying about Calabasas MB, apparently there not really that good with returning phone calls! You'd think for a repeat customer they'd have the common courtesy of a return phone call...But, what can you do?

Thanks again for helping me out with the paintless dent removal recommendation!!
