I am wondering if anyone here has changed/upgraded their foglamps or bulbs on their GL? I live in a relatively foggy area (near major resevoir/lake) so I am looking for true foglamp functionality as opposed to the cornering or clear fog that has become so customary on cars. I don't want to add a bull/push bar with aux foglamps - I kind of like the look of the front end without that stuff. I was contemplating a switch over to the PIAA Ion Crystal / Plasma Yellow fog bulbs...I've used them before on other vehicles and given that I can turn my fogs on as standalone - I like that option. I have HID's so for regular night lighting I am good. What have some of you guys/gals done with your fogs? post pics too if you have.

Do those Piaa bulbs help in the snow? they sound interesting...

None of my other vehicles had the "fog only" capability, but they certainly did not create as much glare as the clear bulbs did. I ordered a set the other day and should have them by the weekend...if it's not too difficult to change on my own I will, otherwise I'll send it down to the dealership to have my V-1 hardwired and my fog bulbs changed. I'll try and take some before and after pics as well should be interesting with the snow we're getting now to do that comparo.
