2010 GL arrival? Plus a few other ?s

Does anyone know when (estimate) we are likely to see the 2010 GL450 arrival in the US market? I am strongly considering getting one but would love to get it by early Summer (June/July?). I know that may be unrealistic... if not possible, does anyone know when one might see the best deals on the 2009?

Also...

Does anyone know if the 2010 will have any substantive improvements... esp re: safety or electronics?

Finally... does anyone know if the GL 2nd row can handle three car seats? Would be most interested in the following config: one booster seat, one toddler seat, and one infant seat. Also, if you know how this varies c/w the ML or even GLK I would love to know.... thanks!!!!!

GLs are built in Alabama, so they're "in the US market" when they roll off the assembly line.

Model year changeover for Mercedes is usually July 1, so figure some time after that.

GL has lower ISOFIX connectors for two seats in middle row.

The booster seat would work fine in the middle with just the seatbelt holding it, as is normal for this type seat. There are three top strap connectors, should you find a booster seat that has one.

You'll have to compare dimensions of the seats you intend to own to determine whether there's room for three to fit side-by-side.

If you're looking for GL-like quality, check out Recaro child seats.

I wouldn't expect to see 2010 GL's probably until fall of this year

Thanks. Sounds like it could work with the booster seat in the middle...

There's been a few spy photos, all that has been revealed are slightly different bumpers with integrated LED driving lights replacing the round fog lights.
