2009 GL550
Real World GL550 Mileage
Just drove straight through from Orlando to Houston. 1033 miles, 17.8 avg mpg, 69 avg mph, ~15hrs driving time (all from the onboard computer). I had the cruise set between 80-85mph the whole way, sometimes up to 88-90mph. We stopped at least a dozen times for "potty" breaks (we have a 3 and 5 yr old), food, etc. We also had about 1 hr of sitting in a traffic jams in Orlando, Tallahassee, and Mobile.
I'm pretty happy with the mileage, especially at those speeds. MPG without the stops would likely have been 19-20.
Just thought some out there might want to know.
