I have this 2007 GL450 which I bough it couple days ago. I have factory installed DVD entertainment system and I cannot get DVD to play on the two monitors, it was working until I hit some key and now all I see is either AUX1 or AUX2 menu on the monitors. When I click "disk" or "system" key in the remote nothing happens. when I click "TV" it says no TV, when I click mute I see that mute icon comes up on the monitor which tells me that my remote is working fine but I'm unsuccessful in playing DVD in the monitor and unable to figure out myself. I'm asking for help.
Can anyone tell me how do I get the DVD to play on the screen? I have tried removing DVD media and reinserting it with no avail.

Thank you. That issue was resolved by replacing the remote.

 

I have a 2007GL450. Only one screen show "No TV" but the other one works fine. You said your issue got resolved by replace a new remote. How could it be remote problem? Thanks.

 

Have you tried playing with the switch on the side of the remote. It switches between the left and right screens.

 

The start of this string is a similar issue I am having with my system.

My DVD monitors show the AUX1 menu on one and the AUX2 menu on the other. I cannot navigate off of this screen with the remote. I THOUGHT my remote was broken so I got a new replacement remote off of eBay. This remote does not work either. I am thinking something else is wrong with the system. It seems frozen???

 

Do the on screen buttons work. Try plugging something (dvd player, camera, etc) in to the aux to see if anything shows up. Make sure the switch on the side of the remote is in the right position.

 

Hello all having a similar problem.

Changed from Aux One to Disc to play some DVDs when some joker stole my iPhone 4 that was connected to A/V cables. Was great for playing movies for the kids without a DVD (find the DVD is terrible).

Got a replacement iPhone but now I cannot change back to Aux 1 or Aux 2.

Remotes have new batteries.
L/R switch confirmed as correct.
Headrest is receiving signal but only for mute On/Off and screen On/Off.

Aux 1 / Aux 2 / TV / Volume / no other buttons have an impact.

I have 2 remotes (lost one / replaced it / found it) and tried with both.

Is there a way to reset the remotes? It feels like they are not paired correctly with the headrests.
