Don't now if this is appropriate, but after both wife and I being laid off, I find myself having to sell my GL. Love the truck, best vehicle I have ever owned, and I will buy another when we get back on our feet. Nothing wrong with it ever, I could just stand to reduce my expenses.

One year old Mercedes Benz GL320 CDI Diesel 7-passenger SUV in like new condition. Only 16K miles. Balance of 4/50,000 factory warranty. Great color combination in White with Macadamia interior. Loaded with P1 Package and many extras including IPOD Connection with Steering Wheel Controls, 19" Wheel Package, Skid Plates, Roof Rails, NAV, Premium Harman/Kardon Sound, Voice Command, Bluetooth Connection for Phone, Factory Trailer Hitch, Rear view camera, Power liftgate, Dual sunroofs, Heated Seats with Memory, Sirius Radio, Power Folding External Mirrors, Multifunction Remote, AWD with off-road control, Hill Decent, Automatic Air Suspension with 3" Lift, Power Third Row Seats. BTW, a little off topic... do you need to install an electric trailer brake? I've been hearing conflicting info.

I would certainly put in an electric brake controller if I was towing a heavy trailer. When I hauled my classic car through some small mountains, with car and trailer weighing around 4000, the trailer had hydraulic surge brakes, although I don't know if they were working, and it stopped really well. I also believe that many states require brakes on trailers over 3000 or 3500 lbs, so if they aren't surge hydraulic, you need a controller. You have somewhat of a built in sway control on the MB, but again, if I was hauling a 5000 plus trailer, I would use a load leveling, sway control hitch, with an electric brake controller installed.

Thanks for the offer, but if I have to sell my baby, I'm gonna sell it as it is with everything included. Also, thanks for the concern, was bad enough without one job, really sucks without two! So much for "stimulus"!

Have you tried posting it in the classified section of this forum?

You might get alot more responses...though there always seem to be a few jerks that tell you how they can get one cheaper at auction!

Good luck with the sale! I'd be interested but I still have 10 months to go on my Infiniti lease before I can buy.

Thanks, appreciate the response. In fact, I just posted it in the classified section yesterday. Silly me, I only go to the GL Class forum on this website, and didn't even know they had a classified section. That is why when I posted, I said I didn't know if this was an appropriate place to post FS items. I put it on Craigslist, and yes, you always get those sarcastic responses. I got one last week that said he could get a new 2009 GL320 for less than I am asking for mine, and that he checked and mine was only worth 36K to maybe 40K. I told him if he can by a new one, or find a low mileage used GL320 for that, he should buy it, as in checking, from Ebay, to Autotrader, to other locations, a 2008 GL320 is not going for under 40K. In fact, most listed by dealers are asking mid to upper 50's, and a couple beyond. Oh well.....If I could only get 36 to 40K for my 2008, I would and will definately keep it, I will find a job eventually!
