GL seat covers?

Has anyone had any decent seat covers, that are easy to clean and easy to place and remove? I own a construction business and it tends to ged me really dirty sometimes, and my GL's leather is light grey... After only a couple of rides without anything to cover the seat it became so filthy that it took a bunch of people at a car care center 2 hours to return it to its normal look.

I was told not to bother with MB's factory covers, the "sheepskin" ones, because they barely cover the seat to begin with and they're way overpriced as well. Personally, I am so satisfied with the MB Tex that I would have to be convinced to go back to leather, but that doesn't solve your problem ...

I seem to recall there were covers made for the Nissan Pathloser SUV that were made of similar material to a wet suit and covered the whole chair, top to bottom. They might've been something you can get aftermarket, if they'd fit. Not having a drop-down arm rest is a plus, but the separate headrest is a problem.

Do you have leather or MB Tex? For MB Tex, you could simply wipe it off w/ a soapy damp cloth.

That's why I insisted on getting MB Tex for my GL... I know sooner or later, my daughter will make some mess

I can't tell you the number of people who insist I'm mistaken, that I have leather. That's how good the MB Tex is. And I have had leather in nearly ever car I've gotten in the past 20 years. I would never want to get leather in an MB, as nice as it is, now that I've had MB Tex.

But that doesn't help with the seat cover question! Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
