BabySmart on GL

Does anyone know if the GL is equipped with BabySmart technology for the front passenger seat? It is the technology that turns off the airbags if one of the MB car seats is placed in the seat.

I am not sure about the babysmart technology, but if you even put your purse on the front seat the air bag turns off. It has a sensor in it and it either has to be empty or the object has to weigh more than 75lbs for the airbag to engage. HTH.
