Hi there I'm interested in diagram for led tail lights. I read all your posts but I'm not able still to connect those 50 w resistors right. Everything is blinking and not working right. I trying to connect resistors to wires you show on diagram. But can't understand which one where.
There is 5 wires connector. Please help me , thank you

I end up cutting the 10 Main LED wire and attached it to the 3rd brake light. Leaving the resistor in place to act as phantom light bulbs.

Here is a crude wiring diagram. Please let me know if there is a better way.
Update. I end up using a small wattage filament type bulb and socket instead of the resistor. Resistors generate too much heat didn't like the idea of a hot chunk of tin in the back of my car when im driving at light with the light always on. a small bulb hardly generate any heat at all.

The bulb use was a wedge bulb for license plate lamp.

The right size resistor should generate the same heat as the light bulb.
Differences being it does not burn out.

Interesting thought.. Then I should go with a 5 watt resistor. Cause the small wedge bulb doesn't generate much heat at all.

The amount of heat it generates is based on the voltage and the resistance.
The wattage rating is how much it can withstand.
