Custom puddle lights on GL

This is an aftermarket DIY w/ lots of wiring...
The puddle LED's are tapped into the 3rd row dome light, when dome dim off, they dim off.

2008 GL550 Obsidian Black/Black
Great job! I was going to put a video but you beat me to it. Clean install, very detailed. When i put mine it was a test first to see how it was going to look so the install wasn't as technical.(Again it took me about 1 1/2 to install and more than 1/2 hour was just to clean under the boards). But it works fine so i just left it. I used the exact same pods but you have to seal it with silicone or water will get into them. I put mine about 4 months ago and working flawlessly.

I sealed them from inside. The installation took about 10+ hours. Mostly preparations. Since the electric components are exposed to air, water and mud, good sealing, wrapping, covering and mount are must. This is how they look under the RB,
