Installed rear wing
About a month ago I installed a rear wing on my gl450. Got it from autotoys pre-painted (you supply your paint code) with everything needed for the install.
The install itself is not for the faint of heart - have to drill two holes through the existing hatch and then on the inside drill through a second layer of metal that you eventaully put in a couple rubber plugs to seal them.
Looks pretty good on the car, nothing too hideous...posted a couple pics today since its like 70 degrees in MA today!!!

How's the quality? There's another member post that said the quality and the fit for that spoiler wasn't perfect, so I was hesitant about buying it. Did you buy it online? What's the website and how much did you pay? Thanks!!!

Quality is decent. I had to send it back the first time because the paint job wasn't very good. Got it back the second time and things were much better.
As far as the rain/dirt on the rear windown, it doesn't seem like it makes a difference either way. Mine always gets really dirty and it still does after putting on the wing!

Not necessarily my own taste (because of what's already up there) but I do have one question; it looks pretty similar to the one I put on the back of my old LX470. Did you have any noise issues? Mine whistled until they re-installed it with extra rubber insulation and different screws.

I ordered mine today from spoilers4less.com $288 painted, free shipping. Like you I enjoy the subtle upgrades. That spoiler is so subtle that people will notice your GL looks better than others but not know exactly why until they see one side by side.
