What sort of discount for a 2010 GL350?
Pretty keen on a GL350 but not many around of course. Maybe this explains the reluctance of dealers to discount. Have been told by a few that there margin is only 6% on the vehicle. Is this true.
If a vehicle with say P1, that has an MSRP of $69K, what is the dealer actual cost (not invoice)?
Any input greatly appreciated... thanks guys (and gals).
Cheers

2010 GL350 Steel Gray
I just ordered a GL350 for 6% off dealer list. They have about 7% to work with leaving the dealer about 1% left. This was on a special order vehicle which they charged me $250 for. I ordered a couple of items like Adaptive Suspension that was a special order item along with heated rear seats and running boards. plus P2, lighting, leather, hitch, entertainment, 3 zone hvac

Ordered our '09 back in September of '08...paid $500 over invoice, which I feel is very reasonable for a new model with no trunk money.
IIRC, holdback amounts to about 5% of the msrp, but you got to let them make SOME money. Too many dealerships have been closing down...now have to drive 30 miles to take my work truck to the clsoest Dodge dealership because local dealer no longer exists.
