Brake Drying
HI I'm repacing my bmw with GL350 and was wondeing if the GL has a brake drying feature? When the wipers are on the bmw pulses the brakes every so often to keep them dry. Here in BC it rains a bit so it's nice to know that on long wet highway drives your brakes wil be there. I don't see this in the manual but can't understand why Mercedes wouldn't have added it into the mix by now. Thx.

yes, all of our cars are now equipped with adaptive brake, which includes the brake drying feature and is activated by the windshield wipers.

I don't see that listed as a feature for the GL - just for the C, E & S Class.

GL 320cdi, Chevrolet Avalanchero, GLE 350 (on order)
It is on the GL too. I have read several references to this, and I think it is in the owner's manual, IIRC.
