Problems with TPMS on my snow setup--2008 GL320

I purchased a set of used OEM 18" wheels (same as my stock ones) with used factory TPMS sensors still on them. I had new Blizzak's mounted on the wheels. I mounted them about one month ago and have had a TPMS warning ever since. The yellow warning light is always lit and intermittently a red message in the display reads "check tire pressure." The pressures are set at 32F/38R just as recommended so there is likely a problem with the sensors. I did reset the TPMS via the menu on the dash. This does not help. Does the car need to learn the "new" TPMS sensors? Is there a way to test them? Thanks for any help. Ashok.

I had a similar problem. I bought new wheels/tires and four new sensors. The problem I ran into is the sensors in the 2007-2009 are different than the ones in 2010+. They are both 433mhz, but something is different about the way they communicate.

Since you have a 2008 you probably got wheels that came off a newer GL. I had to buy four new sensors and now it works.

FWIW I have four sensors that will work on your 2008. Send me a Pm if you are interested.
