Picked up my 2010 GL350 in Artic White and Charcoal. (Raining today here in CT otherwise I would take pictures) Got 28.2 mpg on the way home doing 65 mph. Got 24.5 overall including in stop and go, town driving.

Congrats!
How does it accelerate? I'm close to lease end on my GL450, and am thinking about the possibility of a GL350 in my future. I'm rather fond of performance, and not sure I would be happy with just torque.

Not quick off the line but adequate. Very refined despite near red line. On the freeway the low to mid range torque moves the car quite nicely. It probably does not compare to your V8 but for an average 24 mpg it is worth it.

I have found that my 320 is quicker out of the gate than the 450, and pretty quick out on the open highway. I have zero issues passing at high speeds. Mine has 29,000 miles on it and I am incredibly satisfied with the diesel. I'm also pleased mine didn't come with AdBlue!

Thank you both. I'm still about 3 months from lease end, but I'm thinking a test drive could be in order this holiday week.
