How much is the going auction rate on a 07 GL450 with 38,868 miles and P02? I found one where dealer bought from the auction in 12/09 and is asking $40K for it.
Also, how much would it cost to install a running board to a GL aftermarket?!

Sorry, but yeah this info is for 07 GL 450....thats what i wanted to buy, so really didnt pay attention to the others....as far as MMR, its a term used by the auction house to express the cars expected selling price at auction
FYI there r a couple places that allow u to view a presale list of the cars going to auction and will bid on them in ur name. After acquiring the car they sell it to u at the price paid for at auction with an additional middle man fee of about 1K....its a pretty good deal, but u take a risk of never really seeing the car before u buy it

Can you share the names that would provide this service? Would you be able to get Vin numbers? I hear that there is also a 72 hour grace period after the purchase. Is that correct?

Luckily, I have a close friend with access to these auctions so I did not use one of these services, but I did come across a couple while researching prior to my buy. Off the top of my head i remember one being H Greg Auto Auction....if i remember correctly they charge u auction invoice plus a $800ish fee....there are a couple others, and i found most of them on autotrader.....i typed in the make and model, and found postings saying that they would be attending a MB auction and would be willing to buy the car on ur behalf.....
As far as VIN numbers, i dont know how these specific compenies work, but from my own experience, the auction website (exclusively for dealers) provides an enormous wealth of information about the vehicle in addition to the VIN....they even include pics of everything, including any imperfection...
Mine was a steal, i got an 07 GL 450 for about 32K....the car arrived the next day, and had an official KBB rating and expected value of 46K!!!
As for the return policy, u are buying it as is...u have the option of purchasing frame/major damage insurance for about $150 from the auction house....however this only gives u the right to return the vehicle if some sort of major flaw is found in the integrity of the vehicle....other than that, its ours no questions asked
