Navigation-TV update
I did the Navigation update on my 2007 GL, Now I can watch movies in the Navigation screen. Here is what I did
1. Installed another (a slim) DVD player in the glove compartment
2. Installed a VIM in the command
3. Installed an AUX switch
4. Ran AUX wiring from additional DVD to my existing DVD player (RES)
What I get
1. I can watch movies in the NAV-TV using the DVD player in Glove
2. Kids can watch cartoons using the DVD player underneath the seat (RES)
and use head phones for sound
3. I can switch RES to AUX and all three screen can watch the same DVD which I'm playing in the glove
I think it is cool. It cost me $1200 if anyone care to know.

What kind of slim dvd player did you use. I have capabilies to hookup an additional dvd player and play it on the command screen. How about the wiring from slim dvd player to the RSE. Are they visible?
