I'm looking at an '07 GL 450 (all I can afford right now) and I absolutely must have bluetooth/handsfree functionality.

I don't mind installing a puck or whatever. But...

How can I tell if this GL is pre-wired for bluetooth???

Look in the upper section of the central storage compartment. If you have a plug there- your truck is prewired for Bluetooth.

 

As shown here:

(Might be a plastic cover over the connector--it just pulls off)

 

So here's a photo of what I've got.

It sounds like I need to purchase the Bluetooth Interface Module in the photo on the right--are there different models? Only available at the dealer?

Anyone have experience pairing it with the Motorola Droid?

I have an '07 GL450. I purchased the puck on eBay for $50 and it actually worked. It's been 3months and no issues. I have it paired with iPhone. Driod should not be an issue the part number I used is 62872.
