You should be able to see a noticeable difference when looking at the wheel gap. I believe AIRMATIC raises the car 3 inches.

The few times I've noticed it, I realized that the other car had bigger wheels (22 or 21 compared to my 19). Also, not sure, but the ride heights offered with the ADSII (adaptive damping) option might be a little different than the Airmatic...
