Unintended acceleration

Unintended acceleration
I have just got the service D done on my GL450, 2007 model on 39000 miles. I have noticed that now I have some unintended acceleration problem, it happens when I try to stop the truck and my foot off the gas padel the truck slows down but suddenly it speeds up, it doesn't go very fast but I can see from the techo meter which goes upto 1.6 and then slows down but when I'm nearing stop it goes up again (techo meter about 1.3 or higher) and eventually stops, I also noticed that light (inside the meter where D and P parking at) glows for a sec when I'm at complete stop. I will be taking it to dealer on thursday but my dealer says nothing to worry about it as long as there is no warning sign in the dash. Anyone has seen this before?

sounds like a hard downshift. a downshift will happen when decelerating, and you will see an increase in revs on the tachometer. Are you actually seeing an increase in road speed, or just engine speed?

It seems like a hard downshift and check if you have tranny software update on this one. Usually tranny software update should fix this.
