SOS Tele Aid InOperative - defective antenna
Having "SOS Tele Aid InOperative" error along with stopped-working NAV. Dealer said it was the defective antenna and they are going to replace it. Just for curiosity, where is the antenna located in GL? Dealer told me they won't be able to get the work done the same day... however I don't see this will take more than a couple hours.

If I'm not mistaken, getting to any of the antennae is a seriously involved process, with removal of the headliner or the plexiglass roof, something like that. Not a simple plug-n-play fix, however you look at it. As an aside, I have ALWAYS had issues with the quality of the Sirius signal, which drops out in places where my signal didn't degrade in the slightest with XM. I don't know if it's the lack of ground repeaters or a way-too-small buffer, or if it is a poorly placed antenna, but sometimes even driving under a double overpass at highway speeds will cause a dropout, usually a second or so after passing under it.
